Imaginative use of louvre profile at UCL school of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies

Architects Short & Associates were commissioned by the UCL for their new central London building - this they did to great effect with the help of Architectural Profiles Ltd's AP70 LCP fixed louvre profile.

The faceted elevations were all clad in a special white fixed louvre profile which is more commonly found in commercial situations, possibly used in conjunction with the system live louvre inserts to ventilate plant rooms or car parks etc. This unique installation illustrates perfectly how a cladding profile used out of context can be visually very dramatic.

AP70LCP is only one profile from a comprehensive range of roof and wall cladding profile and flat panel systems which are manufactured in the UK by APL. APL also have created and patented the TriTherm installation system which is cutting installation costs and simplifying meeting Part L obligations for construction projects across all sectors.
